General Accountant, Civil Construction
Build More Than Financial Records
Harbour Construction is looking for a General Accountant to join our accounting team.
This is an opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in accurate work, and wants exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities within an established and growing organization.
Reporting to the Controller, the General Accountant plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. While Accounts Payable is a significant component of the role (60%), this is not a narrowly focused AP position. The successful candidate will also be involved in reconciliations, compliance reporting, fixed asset accounting, payroll support, and month-end activities.
As Harbour Construction continues to invest in its people, processes, and technology, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, gain exposure to multiple areas of accounting, and grow professionally within a well-established organization.
