We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Assess individual student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and other documentation
- Organize classroom activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and learning through play
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop school-wide programs and initiatives
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Requirements
- Proven experience working in an SK classroom setting or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including special education needs
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively within a busy classroom setting
- Demonstrated ability to work well with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Excellent writing skills for report writing, lesson planning, and communication with parents
- Valid teaching certification or relevant credentials in early childhood education are highly desirable
- First Aid/CPR certificate required
- Vulnerable Sector check required

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
