About Us: Pure Home Comfort is a growing HVAC contractor serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Hamilton area. We are committed to quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and providing a safe and supportive work environment for our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, ductwork, ventilation components, and gas piping.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and project plans to ensure installations meet specifications and industry standards.
- Perform accurate measurements, layout, and fabrication planning for ductwork and related components.
- Verify that all required materials and equipment are available before work begins, and communicate any shortages to the Project Manager.
- Diagnose and resolve installation or system issues to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with the installation team to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards throughout the project.
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience installing sheet metal and HVAC systems.
- Valid G driver's licence required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong layout and measuring skills with attention to detail.
- Experience troubleshooting HVAC systems and identifying installation issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established safety procedures.
- Valid Refrigeration License (preferred)
- Gas Technician (G2/G3) license (preferred)
- valid ODP certificate (preferred).
- sheet metal licence (required)
