We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at JBR Kleaning Services. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation for two commercial facility spaces; One in Regina & one in Moose Jaw ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service. Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers consistent hours and the opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
Skills
- Experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage techniques is advantageous
- Physical ability to perform light lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
Pay: From $15.35 per hour
