About Us
Babu's Team Garbage Removal is a locally owned and operated waste removal company serving construction sites, renovation projects, contractors, and residential customers throughout the Lower Mainland. We specialize in hauling construction debris, drywall, wood waste, scrap materials, garbage, and recycling from job sites to disposal and recycling facilities.
We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy Class 5 Driver / Labourer to join our team on an on-call basis.
Responsibilities
- Drive a Ford F-550 dump truck to construction and renovation sites
- Load and secure construction debris, garbage, drywall, wood, scrap materials, and recycling
- Transport materials safely to transfer stations, recycling depots, and disposal facilities
- Unload materials at designated dump sites
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general labour duties as required
Requirements
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Clean Criminal Record
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and heavy lifting
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience driving trucks or working in construction, waste removal, landscaping, moving, or related industries is considered an asset
