We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a cook/kitchen help. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food handling and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas
- Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, including inventory management and cleaning duties
- Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold food safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments an asset but not necessary. Will train.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and teamwork-oriented attitude
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
