Farmers Market Booth Operator & Farm Hand, Part-Time. (Full Time available)

We are a family-run vegetable farm based in Kelowna looking for a reliable, hardworking farm hand to join our team for the 2026 season. The primary role is operating our farmers market booths on a regular schedule, with additional farm work available for the right person.
Core Responsibilities
- Run farmers market booth every second Saturday and Sunday, with possible additional Wednesday markets
- Saturday & Wednesday: Kelowna Farmers Market
- Sunday: Peachland Farmers Market
- Early morning start required (6:00 AM start time)
- Travel using Farm Vehicle to and from the farm to load and unload produce
- Set up and tear down market booth (tables, tents, displays, signage)
- Merchandise and present fresh produce attractively
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Handle cash and operate POS system accurately
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Hours
- Part-time: 16–25 hours per week operating Farmers Booth
- Additional hours available with farm operations support

- Weeding
- Harvesting
- General farm support tasks
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Comfortable starting early mornings (6:00 AM)
- Able to work independently and represent the farm professionally at markets
- Enjoys customer interaction and selling fresh produce
- Physically capable of farm and market work
- Valid driver’s license (clean driving record required)
Driver’s Abstract Requirement
A driver’s abstract will only be requested if you are shortlisted for the position. It is not required during the initial application or interview process. If selected as a final candidate, it will be required as the last step before a job offer is made.
Compensation
- Hourly wage: $18.50–$20/hour, depending on experience
