We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant kitchen. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Implement and uphold food safety protocols and health regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development to meet customer preferences and industry trends
- Ensure timely service delivery while maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service
- Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety within the kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless restaurant operations
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
- Supervising experience within a food service or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training kitchen staff
- Knowledge of the food industry trends, restaurant operations, and customer service excellence is essential
