Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently managing food and beverage orders. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, hospitality standards, and effective time management to ensure a memorable experience for our guests. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with health standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to uphold food safety standards.
- Assist in training new team members on service protocols and POS operation as needed.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Experience in hospitality environments that emphasize teamwork, communication, and professionalism is highly desirable.
