Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to oversee the efficient movement of goods within our facility. This role involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving procedures, and operate various material handling equipment. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the loading and unloading of shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Manage shipping and receiving documentation
- Ensure accurate order picking, packing, and labeling for outbound shipments
- Assist in verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy
- Operate equipment safely, including forklifts and reach trucks, adhering to safety protocols
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Support packaging activities to prepare products for shipment
- Conduct basic math calculations for inventory counts, order quantities, and shipment weights
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or distribution is preferred
- Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar material handling equipment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of order picking, order fulfillment processes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and documentation
- Basic math skills for accurate counting and measurement tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
