Job Overview:
Reporting to the Project Engineer, the Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning and coordinating of construction activities and timelines to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
· Act as point of contact for customers, construction supervisors and engineering department
· Communicate with internal departments to designate company resources
· Monitor progress of projects, communicate progress with stakeholders
· Edit, proof-read and compile quotes, contracts and checklists
· Coordinate with structural, geotechnical and civil engineers regarding permit applications and jobsite inspections
· Work with Project Engineer to prepare change orders, estimates and costs
· Conduct Health and Safety meetings for new projects, submit Notices of Project for WCB
· Prepare deficiency lists for projects and complete documentation for closing out contracts
Successful candidate will possess:
· Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Construction Project Management
· Technical knowledge of mechanical systems is required
· Ability to read and understand construction drawings and documents
· Strong administrative skills
· Ability to work accurately under pressure, and to resolve concerns proactively
· Fluency in English (written and spoken)
· Adaptable/flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines
· Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a current work visa
Valid driver’s license - travel to project sites will be required

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
