Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Mechanic will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met across our facilities.
We are a family owned facility, with some of the most up to date diagnostic equipment and tools in the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS:
~ Must be able to work Monday to Friday, and some occasional overtime
(some flexibility can be arranged if needed)
~Diagnose & repair trucks, trailers, heavy equipment and other automotive vehicles
~ Diagnose & repair various engine, driveline/chassis & electrical system faults
~ Able to perform MTO safety inspections
~ welding experience is an asset
~ Organized & self-motivated
~ Ability to analyze & solve problems
~ Able to work independently and in a team setting
~ Must maintain a safe & clean working environment
~ Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required

Schedule:
- 9 hour shift Monday to Thursday.
- 7Hr shift on Friday
- Day shift
