Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive and self-serve dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other BI and automation tools.
- Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
- Translate complex data findings into compelling stories and presentations for senior leadership and business partners
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reports and dashboards
- Support ad-hoc reporting needs and provide guidance on BI best practices
Skills & Experiences:
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., math, physics, engineering, finance or computer science), with 3+ years of relevant experience in BI reporting
- Able to work both independently and in a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment; self-starter, curious, with strong problem-solving skills to identify business and technical solutions
- Experience in combining multiple data sources to 1) succinctly present a message; 2) produce actionable insight, 3) identify data hygiene improvement opportunities
- Proficiency in designing and building dashboards using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, with a strong understanding of advanced DAX, Power Query, SQL, Automation, and Semantic Data Modelling
o Experience working with large datasets, data transformation, and ETL processes
o Excellent storytelling and data visualization skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience using ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence is an asset
- Working knowledge of IT vernacular, technologies and practices
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
