Carpenter / Renovation Technician

Job Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements and layouts.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect wall and roof systems.
- Install interior and exterior trim, doors, windows, moulding, cabinetry, and hardware.
- Complete residential renovations, including decks, fences, garages, home construction, finishing work, Duradek installations, railings, framing, and general carpentry.
- Assess, remove, and replace damaged framework, structures, and wooden fixtures.
- Safely operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools, including saws, sanders, nail guns, and laser levels.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all health and safety requirements.
- Assist with the preparation and installation of Duradek products. Training will be provided if needed.
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to work longer hours during the summer construction season and shorter hours during the winter.
- Class 5 Driver's Licence required.
- AEC/DEP or Skilled Trades Certificate is considered an asset.
- Approximately four years of carpentry or renovation experience is preferred.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
