Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and personable Aesthetician to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide a range of skincare, body treatments, and aesthetic services to enhance clients' natural beauty and promote overall well-being. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to sanitation, and the ability to create a relaxing and welcoming environment for guests. The Aesthetician will also engage in retail sales, product demonstrations, and upselling to support business growth and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform skincare treatments including facials, body waxing, massage, body scrubs and wraps
- Must be proficent in manicures, pedicures, shellac application and removal
- Assist guests at the front desk with check-in, appointment scheduling, and guest services
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all treatment areas and equipment
- Educate clients on skincare routines, product usage, and new treatments through product demos and consultations
- Prioritize cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping, mopping and maintaining high standards for a clean spa environment
- Engage in retail sales by recommending appropriate products to clients based on their needs
- Strive to meet retail sales quotas with drive and passion
- Upsell additional services or packages to enhance client experience and increase revenue
- Ensure a relaxing atmosphere by providing excellent hospitality and guest services throughout each appointmentSkills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally and empathetically
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatments, product benefits, and aftercare instructions clearly
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to maintain a safe environment for clients and staff
- Experience in retail sales, upselling, and product demonstrations to promote skincare lines or beauty products
- Proficiency in front desk operations including appointment booking and guest management
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing personalized guest services
