Job description
As a Sales & Installation Representative, you will handle both the sales and installation process for VistaShades products. This dynamic role involves meeting with clients, providing product recommendations, preparing quotes, and performing hands-on installation. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and technical, hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home or on-site consultations with homeowners, contractors, and businesses.
- Present and explain product options including retractable screens, window coverings, awnings, and security shutters.
- Measure spaces and prepare accurate proposals and quotes.
- Close sales and maintain positive client relationships.
- Install purchased products with precision and care, ensuring quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation or service issues.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe working order.
- Provide clients with education on operation, care, and maintenance of products.
- Represent VistaShades with professionalism and customer-first service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales and/or installation (window coverings, awnings, or related home improvement industries preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence with tools and technical diagrams.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Comfortable working at heights and in varied environments.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
