HVAC Service Technician - Licensed
Pay: $38.00 - $65.00 per hour, depending on experience
Work Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday
Position Overview:

Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Diagnose equipment issues, replace faulty components, and complete repairs efficiently.

Install new systems and carry out equipment retrofits in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.

Review work orders, assess service requests, and investigate customer concerns to determine appropriate corrective actions.

Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend effective repair or replacement solutions.

Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining a professional and courteous approach.

Complete accurate service documentation, including work orders and maintenance records.

Communicate clearly with customers regarding system performance, repair recommendations, and maintenance requirements.

Keep current with advancements in HVAC and refrigeration technologies, equipment, and industry best practices.
Qualifications / Skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with an acceptable, insurable driving record.

Journeyman Technician certification is considered an asset but is not required.

Hands-on experience servicing commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Proven ability to perform preventative and routine equipment maintenance.

Solid understanding of local plumbing codes, regulations, and compliance standards.

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with customers, and coworkers.
