Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking skilled Shingler/Labourer to join our roofing team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labor tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, and possess basic construction skills. Prior experience in shingling, handyman work, is required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in roofing and construction while contributing to high-quality project completion. Must have Working from Heights Certification.
Duties
- Assist with shingling and roofing installation according to project specifications
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills to perform various tasks
- Carry and lift heavy materials safely around the job site
- Perform general labor duties including site cleanup, material handling, and preparation of work areas
- Apply caulking and sealing materials as needed for roofing projects
- Support carpentry tasks and other handyman responsibilities as required
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools used in construction and carpentry
- Experience in roofing is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic handyman skills including caulking, sealing, and minor repairs are desirable
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Must be able to get to job site as early as 6:30 am and potentially work long hours.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
