We are currently seeking a skilled and patient-focused Optical Dispenser to join our independent, optometry clinic due to a clinic expansion. The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and technologies to support their visual needs
- Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses based on lifestyle, prescription, and personal style
- Assist with eyewear dispensing, fittings, adjustments, and adaptation support
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure all patient needs are met with professionalism and care
- Operate and maintain our on-site edging equipment to fabricate eyewear for a wide range of lens types
- Perform prescription checks on finished lenses and complete final quality inspections on all finished jobs
- Perform adjustments, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on eyewear
- Thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to walk-in patients and changing daily priorities
- Be willing to be part of a supportive, communicative team
- Other administrative tasks that support the clinic and patient's needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Optical dispensing experience preferred
- Applicants with previous sales experience / health care experience are also preferred
- Applicants must be available for an in-person meeting.
Starting wage may vary based on applicant's experience in the optical field. Full-time position will start in mid-August 2026.
