Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently driving tri axle dump trucks, tri-pony, and belly dump trailers ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, as well as the ability to operate various types of equipment.
Duties
- Safely operate heavy equipment to transport materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling equipment.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs or maintenance on equipment when necessary.
Requirements
- Valid DZ/AZ drivers licence required.
- Experience in driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with handling procedures and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic mechanical repairs.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Possession of relevant trade certifications considered a strong asset.
Licence/Certification:
- DZ/AZ Driving Licence (required)
