The Home Inn & Suites by d3h™ - Regina Airport West is now hiring a Part-Time Pool Attendant. Shifts will vary 1:30pm-10pm, or 5pm-10pm, 3-4 days a week. You will be required to work weekends as well as varying weekday shifts.
What You'll Do:
- General supervision of the pool area including adherence to all safety rules.
- Maintaining constant surveillance of guests in the facility.
- Acting immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an emergency.
- Providing emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of EMS.
- Ensuring familiarity with pool operations and ability to efficiently perform readings pertaining to pool and spa levels.
- Keeping the pool area clean.
- Recording any incidents that occur in the pool or pool area.
- Complying with OH&S guidelines and the hotel's pool safety plan.
- Assisting other departments, when required.
Your Background:
- Basic Life-Saving Skills (CPR Level C/First Aid) but will train the right candidate.
- As per Provincial legislation, candidates must be 16 years of age or older.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to move and lift heavy furniture and equipment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of pool equipment and safety measures.
- Consistent professional appearance and pleasant demeanor.
- Willingness to work on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and after hours.
