Job Overview
We are currently seeking to hire a research chemical engineer. In this position, you will work in our R&D Department to support production, evaluate catalyst materials and processes for gas purification, and optimize processing parameters, etc. The candidate will be a team member working on multiple projects, and should demonstrate an understanding of applicable chemical engineering skills. The successful candidate should be able to take a project from the conceptual stage through to completion, taking into account budgeting and operational considerations.
Job responsibilities
- Participate in experimental design and setup
- Prepare catalyst samples and perform evaluation in micro-reactor or engine lab.
- Observe and record testing results, identify and analyze the problems.
- Analyze and summarize testing results
- Write technical reports and submit experimental findings
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- Business trips to carry out field tests and meet with clients
Educational Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.S. degree in chemical engineering (catalysis).
- No experience is required.
Additional Requirements
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good team player.
- Enthusiastic and positive.
- Experience on catalysis is a great asset.
Candidate Profile
As the ideal candidate, you should have a Ph.D. or M.S. degree and an educational background in catalysis. A solid work ethic, honesty, professionalism, and a willingness to adapt and meet deadlines within a changing environment is required. Good communication skills are required along with the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
