Apex Painting is seeking a reliable, experienced, hardworking, and detail-oriented Painter to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial painting projects throughout the Lower Mainland.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and masking
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients on-site
- Follow company quality standards to ensure a high-end finish
- Protect furniture, flooring, and surrounding areas during projects
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
- Previous residential or commercial painting experience
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Comfortable working on ladders and performing physical labour
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and attitude on job sites
- Experience with sprayers is an asset
- Willingness to learn and improve skills
