Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a hygienic environment
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
- Hospitality or customer service experience is advantageous but not required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
- Must be available weekends evening shifts
