Skilled Landscape Operator / Labourer Iron Horse Outdoor Services – Chilliwack, BC Iron Horse Outdoor Services is looking for a reliable, hardworking operator/labourer with interest and experience in landscaping and hardscaping. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, takes pride in building quality projects, and can work efficiently without constant supervision. Applicants must be comfortable operating trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment on active job sites. Requirements - Valid BC Driver’s License - Class 5 preferred - Reliable transportation to and from work - Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working outdoors in all weather - Some landscaping or hardscaping experience preferred - Positive attitude and willingness to learn Experience Preferred - Retaining walls - Paver patios and pathways - Excavation and grading - Gravel prep and compaction - Mulching, planting, and garden bed installation - Landscape fabric / weed barrier installation - Experience operating: - Mini excavators - Tractors - Plate compactors - Cut-off saws and landscaping tools Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset. Responsibilities - Complete landscaping and hardscaping projects safely and efficiently - Operate trucks, trailers, and equipment - Material pickups and dump runs - Site prep, grading, cleanup, and finishing work - Build retaining walls, patios, pathways, and landscape features - Assist with winter snow removal services - Maintain clean, organized job sites and equipment Some jobs may be completed independently once trust and experience are established.
