Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender /server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Take orders from guests and serve drinks promptly while ensuring accuracy.
- Manage POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food service and alcohol service.
- Assist in setting up the bar area before shifts and cleaning up after closing.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food industry settings, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising service quality.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members.
