Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, handle transactions accurately, and promote a positive shopping experience. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling and transactions
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately using cash, credit, or digital payments
- Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Offer excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers during busy periods
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
- Support team members with organizational tasks to ensure store efficiency
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform product demos and technical sales when needed
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; weekend availability is a plus
Pay: $17.60-$17.90 per hour
