TrimLight Winnipeg is growing, and we're looking to hire two motivated Installation Technicians to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors, aren't afraid of heights, and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to hear from you.
TrimLight is North America's leading permanent outdoor lighting system, and we install premium permanent outdoor lighting solutions on residential and commercial properties throughout Manitoba.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing TrimLight permanent outdoor LED lighting systems
- Working safely on ladders and extension ladders
- Working at heights on residential and commercial buildings
- Working in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
- Running and securing low-voltage wiring
- Cutting, bending, and installing aluminum track and trim
- Using hand and power tools
- Following installation plans and directions from team leads
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Delivering high-quality workmanship while working efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and working in Manitoba's changing weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Able to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Must provide your own basic hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)
ExperienceRequired
- Construction experience or experience in a related trade
Assets (Not Required)
- Experience installing TrimLight or other permanent outdoor lighting systems
- Experience with low-voltage wiring
- Roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, electrical, or exterior finishing experience
- Experience operating lifts or scaffolding
Additional Assets
- Own truck or suitable work vehicle
- Own ladders and extension ladders
- Complete set of installation tools and PPE
- Ability to complete permanent lighting installations independently
- Previous piecework or subcontract installation experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $20.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Overtime available during peak season
- Company vehicles provided during work hours

Piecework Opportunities
Experienced installers who own their own truck, ladders, tools, and PPE, and who can complete installations independently, may be eligible for piecework opportunities.
Piecework rates and eligibility will be discussed based on experience, workmanship, reliability, and the ability to complete projects efficiently while maintaining TrimLight's quality standards.
