Electrical Apprentice
AEC Industrial Solutions designs and integrates world class Automation, Electrical & Control solutions for motors, pumps and material handling equipment. AEC has a committed well-trained staff dedicated to designing and providing custom solutions, and partners with top tier manufacturers of industrial automation and control equipment. AEC is currently hiring 1st and 2nd year apprentice electricians based out of Red Deer.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
· Build and assemble control and VFD panels
· Electrical and controls for motors and pump systems
Maintain, track, and organize materials
· Uphold company values and maintain our internal culture of exceptional service, superior quality, innovation, and teamwork
· Additional duties may include maintenance, housekeeping, shipping and receiving
Competencies (skills, knowledge, experience)
Valid drivers licence
Motor controls and/or VFD experience an asset
Valid driver’s license with abstract required
Must possess a clean safety record and be committed to safe work practices
· Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and display excellent attention to detail
· Motivated by challenge, innovations, and finding solutions to these challenges
· Excellent reasoning, troubleshooting, and deduction skills
· Work well in both an individual and team setting, and solid communication skills, both oral and written
