We're looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team across multiple dining outlets, banquets, in-room dining, and café operations. This is an opportunity to lead a talented team, drive operational excellence, and help shape the culinary experience at one of Whistler's premier boutique resorts.
What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operations of all kitchen outlets across the resort.
- Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing culinary team while fostering a positive, accountable workplace culture.
- Ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, presentation, and service standards across all outlets.
- Oversee menu execution, daily production, quality control, and seasonal menu implementation.
- Manage kitchen scheduling, labour, purchasing, inventory, and food cost performance to achieve financial targets.
- Lead the culinary execution of weddings, banquets, conferences, and special events.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Partner with leaders across the resort to deliver seamless guest experiences and continuously improve operations.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience.
- Experience leading high-volume restaurant and banquet operations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing food cost, labour, inventory, and purchasing.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A passion for coaching and developing culinary talent.
- Red Seal Certification (or equivalent) is considered an asset.
