Role Description: Account Manager
Reports to: Director of Sales and Marketing
Classification
This is a permanent, full-time professional position, primarily working Monday-Friday during business hours.
Mission
The Account Manager is the key liaison between TrainingPort and our clients across North America and beyond. As the primary point of contact with existing client partners, the Account Manager leads, manages, and strengthens long-term client relationships, providing service excellence through every client interaction.
Key Focuses
Client Relationship Management
Lead and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring they are heard, feel supported, and valued.
Client and Revenue Retention
Proactively manage client and revenue retention, by negotiating and renewing multi-year agreements in a timely manner.
Client Engagement
Plan and execute ongoing in-person client visits, typically one trip per month.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and the business aviation community.
Leverage digital tools such LinkedIn, blogs etc. to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
Accounts Receivable Support
Support the Accounts Receivable process by following up with clients to resolve outstanding issues as needed.

Qualifications and Experience
Legally authorized to permanently work in Canada, and travel internationally.
Knowledge of and experience in business aviation is an asset.
Strong proficiency with business tools (Chat GPT, MS Office, Salesforce, SharePoint, Canva); experience with social media, particularly LinkedIn.
Current, unrestricted driver’s license and valid passport.
Several years of successful relevant experience; related diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation, Benefits, and Travel
Base salary - $72,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Quarterly Commissions based on client retention and value-added services.
Comprehensive Benefits package, including extended health care (with dental and vision), Health Spending Account (HSA) and Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA), generous vacation.
Travel – North American company-paid travel approx. 25-30% of the time, typically 3-5 days per trip. Occasional weekend travel required, with time off in-lieu.
Location & Work Environment
Metro Vancouver preferred.
Hybrid environment; primarily remote, with 5-6 scheduled in-office days per month at our (YVR) Vancouver Office (depending on proximity).
All business tools, systems, and required IT support are provided by the company.
