Responsibilities
- Build and strip concrete formwork for residential projects
- Install footing forms, wall forms, suspended slabs, and stairs
- Read and interpret construction drawings and layouts
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and formwork systems
- Install bracing, embeds, and anchor bolts
- Assist with concrete pours and finishing when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
- Work efficiently as part of a crew while maintaining quality workmanship
Qualifications
- 3+ years of concrete formwork experience
- Experience with residential foundations (ICF experience is an asset)
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using power tools and construction equipment
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance
