We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy equipment, machinery and industrial tools. Your expertise will ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently while supporting our commitment to sustainability and quality service.
Because we operate a highly specialized fleet of Express Blower Trucks, the ideal candidate must be naturally curious, resourceful and bring a strong can-do attitude. Much of our equipment is unique, meaning troubleshooting often requires critical thinking, adaptability and a willingness to learn beyond what’s found in a standard service manual.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance
- Conduct inspections and complete detailed service reports
- Carry out minor welding and fabrication as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors
What You Bring
- A MINIMIMUM of 3–5 years of proven heavy duty mechanical experience
- A Heavy Duty Mechanical Certification - Red Seal
- MUST have a solid understanding of heavy-duty truck systems and diagnostics
- Skilled in electrical and hydraulic systems is considered a strong asset
- MUST have hands-on experience with transport fleets
- Valid Class 1/3 Driver’s License is considered an asset
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment
- Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive attitude
- Must successfully complete pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing (Safety Sensitive Position)

Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
