Civil / Structural Engineer
F3 Engineering is looking for a Civil / Structural Engineer to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers in a small, agile company where your technical input and initiative will have a direct impact on projects.
We work on challenging hydropower and industrial projects, helping clients solve practical engineering problems with efficient solutions. Responsibilities
- Perform civil and structural engineering analysis and design
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications
- Participate in site inspections, condition assessments, and field reviews
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Support project delivery from concept through construction
- Assist with troubleshooting and solving complex technical challenges
- Support project management activities including scheduling, budgeting, client coordination, and project execution
- Prepare engineering estimates, scopes of work, and proposals
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards and workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with EGBC
- 4+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred
- Experience in industrial, hydropower, infrastructure, or heavy civil projects is considered an asset
- Experience with project management, budgeting, and estimating
- Strong technical report writing and documentation skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
