Whitemud Resources Inc. is looking for a reliable and highly motivated individual to work with the Maintenance and Operations departments at our Metakaolin Processing Plant based in Wood Mountain, SK.
Responsibilities:
- Participating with the Shipping Team, learn to safely operate segments of the loadout.
- Operate various types of heavy & light equipment, including Wheel Loader, Telehandler, and Skid Steer.
- Perform routine maintenance & inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow instructions and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Sample products, perform laboratory tests, record data and take measurements.
- Work at heights and occasionally in confined spaces.
- Participate in safety audits and programs as required.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Work as a team and participate in training other workers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience working in heavy industry such as mining, mineral processing, oil and gas, power, or other related manufacturing industries is an asset.
- Repair work experience would be highly valued.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A valid Class - 1A driver's license would be an asset.
