QA/QC Technician – Plastics Manufacturing | Full-Time | Mississauga
We are currently hiring a QA/QC Technician for a fast-growing plastics manufacturing company in Mississauga. This is a great opportunity for candidates with quality inspection or manufacturing experience looking for a stable, long-term role in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspections and first-off verifications
- Collect product samples and perform testing as required
- Weigh and record part weights daily
- Identify non-conforming products and issue NCRs
- Perform receiving inspections and dock audits
- Maintain QA lab, testing equipment, and inspection records
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Manufacturing or plastics industry experience is an asset
- Knowledge of quality inspection processes
- Plastic extrusion knowledge is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Pay: $19.50 per hour
