Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions using industry-standard software. The successful applicant will have a strong background in bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and familiarity with multiple accounting software platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant tools
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing activities
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify the integrity of financial data
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare detailed reports on financial status for management review
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial documentation
- Monitor and analyze account transactions for discrepancies or irregularities
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including bookkeeping, auditing, and corporate finance practices
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in account analysis and budgeting techniques
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to perform account reconciliation accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills combined with effective communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
