We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to step into a senior leadership role overseeing multiple large-scale building projects across the Toronto area. This is a newly created, site-based position designed for a construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellence across complex, high-value projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader who combines strong technical construction expertise with the ability to guide teams, influence outcomes, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery from preconstruction through closeout.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will act as a key technical and operational leader across several active construction projects at once, working closely with project teams, operations leadership, consultants, and field staff to ensure successful delivery from planning through turnover.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading multiple concurrent construction projects at different stages of delivery

Providing technical, engineering, and project management support to site teams

Reviewing constructability and supporting estimating and cost planning during preconstruction

Participating in tendering, including bid reviews, scope alignment, and trade awards

Overseeing contract administration across multiple projects

Attending project meetings with owners, consultants, and site teams

Ensuring alignment between design intent, field execution, and project goals

Reviewing project schedules, execution strategies, and quality control plans

Supporting project start-up, execution, and structured closeout processes

Monitoring financial performance and supporting forecasting with project teams

Conducting regular site visits to support execution, quality, and risk management

Ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures

Promoting consistency in best practices across scheduling, budgeting, and delivery

Supporting coaching, mentorship, and development of project staff

Driving continuous improvement, lean construction practices, and innovation adoption

Leading discussions on performance, lessons learned, and operational excellence

Maintaining strong documentation control and project tracking systems

Supporting performance and career development discussions across teams

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of progressive experience in building construction

Degree in Engineering or Architecture (or equivalent experience)

Strong background in project management, field leadership, or construction delivery

Deep understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and materials

Experience with estimating, scheduling, procurement, and cost control

Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

Strong leadership and team development capabilities

Compensation
Competitive salary range: $145,000 – $160,000 CAD
