Now Hiring: Experienced Civil Equipment Operator
T’kemlups Contracting is looking for an experienced Civil Equipment Operator to join our growing team.
T’kemlups Contracting is part of Sc.wénwen, the Business Group of Tkemlúps te Secwépemc, and specializes in civil, industrial, and utilities construction, based out of Kamloops, British Columbia.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and other civil construction machinery.
- Complete earthworks, grading, trenching, and site preparation according to project specifications.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance requirements.
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely and on schedule.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction.
- Strong understanding of safe operating practices and job site safety.
- Ability to read grades and work efficiently to project specifications.
- Valid driver's license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset).
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
- Ground disturbance training considered an asset.
- GPS training/skills considered an asset.
