Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards
- Perform food handling tasks while adhering to food safety regulations
- Support the cooking team with various kitchen duties, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Follow proper food storage procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Engage with customers when necessary, providing excellent service and addressing any inquiries
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
