We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the efficient flow of goods through the supply chain. This role operates across both warehouse and office environments, acting as a key link between operational teams and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe, compliant, and highly productive workplace. You will lead by example, support operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement across all warehouse activities.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods
- Coordinate workflow between warehouse and office teams to support seamless supply chain operations
- Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy through proper receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Monitor and uphold warehouse cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance
- Identify operational issues, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and escalate when needed
- Supervise and support warehouse staff, including task delegation and performance monitoring
- Train new employees and ensure adherence to operational procedures and safety standards
- Ensure accurate completion of documentation (manifests, inspection reports, check-in sheets, etc.)
- Manage daily shipment schedules, including cutoffs and documentation preparation
- Perform and oversee inventory counts and discrepancy resolution
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, including safety briefings and compliance with regulations (e.g., ISO standards)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and service quality
- Ensure adequate materials, equipment, and supplies are available for daily operations
- Assist with physically demanding tasks such as loading/unloading and operating material handling equipment when required
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and act as liaison between management and staff
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and forklift handling
- Experience supervising teams or leading operational activities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing work demands
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and repetitive movements
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of air logistics, airport operations, or safety committees (JHSC) is an asset
