Job Duties & Responsibilities
The following are the duties for the position:
Manage HRIS and payroll systems ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Lead recruiting efforts to attract and onboard qualified candidates aligned with company culture.
Oversee absence management programs and coordinate Worksafe BC and ICBC claims processes.
Maintain compliance software and ensure adherence to labor laws and safety regulations.
Administer company insurance policies and liaise with brokers and carriers.
Handle office administrative duties including vendor management, supplies, and general support.
Chair or coordinate the Culture Committee to foster employee engagement and positive workplace culture.
Address and resolve staff complaints promptly and fairly, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Manage technology platforms related to HR, payroll, compliance, and office operations, ensuring effective use and troubleshooting

Education
Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations
Associate degree in Human Resources and Business Administration with workforce experience

Familiarity with Project Management software including CRM and scheduling software
Ability to manage around tight deadlines

Hours and General Information
Full time - Monday to Friday
Hours of Work: 8am-4:30pm
Must speak, read and write English expertly.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Long work hours expected during peak times (45+ hour weeks)
