Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, adhering to established standards of hygiene and safety
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of all surfaces
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms and public spaces to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them immediately
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; ensure proper use and storage at all times
- Support team members with additional janitorial or custodial tasks as needed to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies to handle various surfaces effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
