Food & Beverage Server Positions
Looking for a fun and rewarding summer/fall job? Join our team at the Fort William Country Club, one of Thunder Bay’s most scenic and prestigious golf and dining destinations! We’re hiring Servers for our clubhouse restaurant, patio, and banquet operations for the upcoming summer season.
About the Role
As a Server, you’ll play a key part in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests. From daily lunch and dinner service to special events and tournaments, you’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment surrounded by beautiful views.
Responsibilities
· Provide friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service
· Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery
· Set up and maintain dining areas and outdoor patios
· Assist with banquet set up and take down services
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety standards including WHMIS
· Process transactions and handle cash through a POS system
· Support teammates and foster a positive work environment
· Operation of a Beverage Cart if needed
Requirements
· Smart Serve certification (mandatory)
· Previous serving experience (1 year preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate)
· Previous experience operating a Beverage Cart is preferred (For the specific role)
· Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· A professional, team-oriented attitude with excellent customer service focus
· Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
