Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician

Our client, one of Canada's largest privately owned transportation companies, is looking to add a Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician to its growing maintenance team.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a modern fleet operation offering up to $45.00/hour (including shift premium), a $5,000 sign-on bonus for fully licensed technicians, excellent benefits, and genuine long-term career growth.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform preventative maintenance on highway tractors and trailers
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete efficient, high-quality repairs
- Complete repairs identified during inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete work orders accurately using the maintenance system
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work closely with the Service Coordinator and maintenance team to maximize fleet uptime
- Mentor and support apprentice technicians
What We're Looking For:
- Licensed Journeyperson or Red Seal Truck & Trailer Technician
- Experience maintaining and repairing heavy-duty highway tractors and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience performing commercial vehicle safety inspections is considered an asset
- Comfortable using computers to complete work orders
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Compensation & Benefits
- $35.00 - 45.00/hour (including shift premium for evening shift)
- $5,000 sign-on bonus (fully licensed technicians only)
- Days and Evening Shifts available.
- 4 x 10-hour work week (Mon-Thurs or Tues - Fri)
