Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food service operations. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in your role. The position involves working directly with guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring sanitation standards are maintained throughout the shift.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely processing
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
- Provide guest services that promote a welcoming atmosphere and positive dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and managing transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to serve guests promptly without compromising quality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
