Armstrong Regional Cooperative is a growing organization committed to excellence, innovation and teamwork. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motived Maintenance & Repair Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance & Repair Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of our gas bar, cardlock sites, buildings, equipment, and grounds. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and property.
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and minor issues.
· Maintain fuel dispensing equipment and coordinate specialized repairs with contractors when required.
· Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
· Complete grounds maintenance including landscaping, and general site upkeep.
· Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
· Maintain maintenance records.
· Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
· Assist with facility improvement projects and seasonal maintenance activities.
Qualifications
· Experience in building maintenance, repair, construction, mechanical work, or a related field.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
· Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
· Valid driver's license.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Experience with fuel facilities, cardlock systems, or commercial properties is considered an asset.
