Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our restaurant team. We are looking for a hardworking line cook who can help maintain good quality, with a passion for cooking, who will be able to complete repetitive tasks quickly and efficiently.Prior restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety standards are highly valued.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is cooked properly and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food safety, and sanitation protocols
Skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for quality and safety
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or equipment
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
