The Clinic YYC is seeking a highly organized and professional Clinic Receptionist/Admin to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and administrative support within our clinic. Our ideal candidate will be friendly and welcoming, while also being organized and detail oriented. This person will thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar accurately through the Jane App Software.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
- Maintain organized patient files and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned and related to the position
Skills
- Prior experience in a front desk role preferred
- Experience with EMR systems is preferred, with a preference for those familiar with Jane App.
- Familiarity with clinical procedures and terminology is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Experience with phone systems and a solid understanding of phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule
- Start Date: ASAP
- 25-35 hours
- Mondays-Thursdays (6.5 hours)
- Day Shift/Evening Shift
- Saturdays (Available one Saturday a month from 8:30-3)
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
