Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic Helper to join our team. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical repair and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will assist experienced mechanics with various tasks, ensuring equipment functions efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the inspection, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Support mechanics in disassembling and reassembling components during repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during work activities
- Move tools, equipment and other materials
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge or interest in mechanical systems
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Physical ability to lift moderate loads and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Prior experience in a maintenance or mechanical environment is a plus but not necessary
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Pay: $17.60 per hour
